I have never been a fan of Robin Hood, as the tale never appealed to me. With that being said, I am always up to enjoy good video pokies and Bally Technologies has created a unique twist on this story. Does Lady Robin Hood deliver the goods, or is this a video pokie that you should just forget?
Read on to find out.
Graphically speaking, the Lady Robin Hood pokie is a decent looking game that didn’t really knock my socks off. I am a fan of the way that the game presents itself, but find the reel symbols to be a bit mushed together and hard for me to sort out. The game does include poker card symbols, but they actually don’t look bad as Bally went ahead and made them a bit unique.
Animations are smooth and well presented with the pokie never stuttering and I was happy to see the game move whenever I struck up a win. This game is pretty well presented in the graphic department, but it doesn’t hold a candle to many games put out by Net Entertainment and Microgaming.
Playing Bally’s Lady Robin Hood pokie is decent fun, but I couldn’t enjoy it for a long time as I eventually got bored and moved on to a new game. The pokie has 40 paylines, Free Spins, and Random Wilds with a posted 94% RTP.
I started playing Lady Robin Hood with a $50 balance, which is the same I start all my reviews with. I played the game for about 15 minutes, hitting every feature in the game and eventually wound up scoring $35 in winnings. This obviously won’t happen for everybody, but I came out well ahead for my short gameplay session.
I am a fan of Lady Robin Hood, even if I don’t really care for the subject matter. I love the way the game plays, but feel the graphics are a bit muddled and could be better presented. With that being said Robin Hood fans will enjoy this game and should check it out.
Overall: B
